Julia Lair, MA, LCSW

Julia received her Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. During these years, she developed a heart for walking alongside others through life’s difficult circumstances. Julia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works primarily with children, adolescents, and young adults.

Julia has experiences walking alongside others both personally and professionally. She has worked with high school and college aged girls through Young Life, as well as with families navigating challenges both locally and internationally. Her clinical experience spans various settings, including foster care agencies, the school system, a legal clinic providing counseling services to survivors of domestic violence, and a Christian private practice. Julia is passionate about working with people navigating different issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, broken familial relationships, boundary work, and other mental health concerns. She is also certified in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).

In her free time, she enjoys being outside with her family and friends. She loves drinking coffee, going for walks with her dog, and dreaming about her next travel adventure with her husband.

From Julia:

I believe that in counseling, the relationship is foundational. I strive to create a safe space for you to explore your values and goals, and consider it an honor to do so. My hope for you is that you will experience freedom to live more fully in the life that you are living.
